About me

Pharmacist, researcher at CEMBIO - Universidad CEU-San Pablo.

Since I was a child, I always wanted to become a scientist. I loved the idea of working among pipettes and flasks, and I was passionate about all the technology that enabled us to look at what is usually hidden from our eyes. After becoming a pharmacist, I plunged into the field of analytical chemistry where I have worked in diverse areas such as green chemistry, fluorescence and, especially, separations of complex mixtures using chromatography, electrophoresis, and mass spectrometry. After spending almost 9 years as a researcher in Geneva, in 2023 I joined CEMBIO to lead a new research line where we use metabolomics to better understand infertility and other diseases of the male reproductive tract.

I love analogue photography, and I collect cameras of all kinds that I take with me when I travel, stroll around Madrid, or go hiking in the mountains. I also build model trains and I enjoy everything that art, under any of its forms, makes me experience.
