About me

I am a PhD student in the Geographic Information Technologies program and a research technician for the IbForRes project. In this project, we study forest responses to climate change, especially drought, using different methodologies. In my thesis, I study these responses using satellite images, drone imagery, and fieldwork.

I am a Forest Engineer and hold a Master's in Agro-environmental and Agri-food Sciences. I have been working in research, teaching, and outreach for over 10 years, much of this time in Ecuador.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling and discovering new places. I love going out into the countryside for hiking and cycling.
