Juan Miguel Godoy Corchuelo
About me
I am a pre-doctoral researcher and currently work as research support staff. I began my higher education by completing a degree in biology at the University of Extremadura and subsequently studied for a master's degree in neuroscience at the Complutense University of Madrid. I did my master's thesis on an experimental model in which we found mutations associated with the ELA-DFT spectrum. This opened the door to my current position in the laboratory, which consists of the characterisation of an experimental model associated with TDP-43 proteinopathies, which will allow me to obtain the title of PhD in Biomedical Research. My work focuses on behavioural, motor and metabolic testing, as well as the study of the molecular and cellular biology of this animal model. Outside the work environment, she likes to spend time with her friends and enjoy seeing new places with them. He also loves to enjoy watching or practising any kind of sport.
