About me

I am a research assistant at the Health Research Institute of the Hospital Clínico San Carlos. I studied the Biochemistry degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2017-2021) and the Master in Health Analysis at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2021-2023). During my Final Degree Project at the CBMSO, I did research on the gain of function of fatty acid oxidation in renal fibrosis. I am currently working as a research assistant in the Metabolism and Neurodegeneration laboratory at IdISSC. My project involves the study of TDP-43 proteinopathies both in humans (in controls and patients with ALS, frontotemporal dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases) and in murine models. In my free time I like to watch TV series and try new restaurants.
