About me
She is a passionate and experienced scientist in biomedical and translational research with extensive experience in the field of metabolism, especially in the complexities of obesity, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. As a postdoctoral researcher in the Genetics and Molecular Basis of Complex Diseases group, she focuses on the study of genetic and immunological aspects of patients with multiple sclerosis, although she collaborates with health professionals in other therapeutic areas, such as nephrology and rheumatology.
She considers herself a person who loves travelling and getting to know new cultures, enjoying gastronomy, reading and listening to live music.
