About me

Since 2024 I have been working at IMDEA Agua as a bioinformatics technician in the Microbial Ecology Laboratory thanks to Grant PTA2022-022494-I funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by ESF Investing in your future. I studied biology at the University of Salamanca and found my great passion, microbiology. I did a master's degree in Microbiology applied to Public Health at the University of Alcalá and worked as a research trainee in antibiotic resistance at IBiS, where I found my other passion, bioinformatics. I did another master's degree in Omic Data Analysis at the International University of Andalusia and worked as a bioinformatician in the Microbiota research laboratory at IdISSC. All this has allowed me to study microorganisms from different points of view such as clinical and environmental or in vitro and in silico.
My main quiet hobbies are listening to music, watching series/documentaries and gardening; and my most active ones are climbing and travelling as much as I can.
