My name is María and I studied Biology and a master's degree in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology at the Complutense University of Madrid. I am currently a researcher at IMDEA Energía, in a project that promotes the circular economy. This project consists of the revalorisation of urban green waste for the production of bioplastics through anaerobic fermentation. In my free time I like learning new languages, getting to know new cultures, going to concerts, going to the theatre, swimming or enjoying a good book.
