I studied Biotechnology at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid and completed a master's degree in Plant Biotechnology. For some time, I worked with plants, focusing on their disease resistance and flowering mechanisms. However, my interest in research later merged with my passion for sustainability when I entered the fascinating world of bioplastics research. Currently, I am working on optimizing the production and processing of bioplastics and waxes generated by bacteria, aiming to find more ecological alternatives to conventional production methods. Outside the laboratory, I find fascination for plants, creativity in fantasy literature, and spiritual and intellectual depth in Catholic Theology.
