Olympia is an administrative project manager and research communications specialist in the Aerospace Engineering Department of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. A molecular biologist by training, she is now supporting research and innovation from the sidelines. She mainly manages two ERC Starting Grant projects, NEXTFLOW and ZARATHUSTRA. Olympia believes that science should be accessible to all, and wants to work as a science communicator in the future. Careers don’t have to be linear! She is fascinated by the cosmos: from tiny microbes to galaxy superclusters. She likes to spend her time knitting, cooking without recipes, and hoarding stationery that she will definitely use... someday
