PhD from the University of Granada (International Doctorate in Education) and a graduate in Early Childhood Education. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the National Distance Education University (UNED). Prior to joining the university, she worked as a vocational education teacher within the educational system and held a formation scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
Her research focuses on the critical analysis of educational policies, innovation processes in schools, and teacher education. She has undertaken research stays at University College London (UCL) and the University of Algarve.
