My name is Sandra, my love for animals led me to study Biology, which I graduated from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2020. During my studies I became more and more interested in the field of health and laboratory work, so I later complemented my training with a Master's degree in Health Analysis at the Complutense University of Madrid (2023).
During the master's degree, I had the opportunity to contribute to the development of an immunoplatform for the determination of arachidonic acid, a biomarker in inflammatory and infectious processes of clinical interest.
I am currently working at IMDEA Agua, contributing to the field of environmental health in the Ecotoxicology group.
