Álvaro Gutiérrez is a professor and researcher at the E.T.S. of Telecommunications Engineers at the UPM. His research lines focus on the fields of control, swarm robotics, swarm intelligence, embedded systems, artificial intelligence and applied robotics with special emphasis on bioengineering and energy systems. Outside of the professional field, his interests focus on climbing and hiking.
