Associate Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and Physiotherapy at the Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Graduated in Health Biology from the University of Alcalá and has a Master's Degree in Molecular Biomedicine and another in ESO Teacher Training, Baccalaureate, both from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She completed her Doctoral Thesis in the group of Dr. Beatriz G Gálvez, funded by the Aid for the training of university professors (FPU), in the study of the migration of mesenchymal precursors, obtaining the highest qualification, Cum Laude, together with the International Doctorate Mention, at the European University of Madrid. She continued as a Postdoctoral Researcher with a contract subsidized by the Autonomous Community of Madrid and the European Social Fund to carry out her research in the MASmicrobiota group of Dr. Mar Larrosa, to which she remains attached. Since 2020 she has combined her research work with teaching. She teaches various subjects in the field of basic and biomedical sciences in various degrees (Biomedicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, etc.). She has the Accreditation of a Contracted Professor with a PhD from ANECA. To date, she is the author of more than twenty publications with important impact indexes, has participated in various competitive projects, as well as in national and international conferences, and carries out scientific dissemination activities.

Apart from research, she is interested in and works on creativity and artistic activities. She has always enjoyed making crafts and creating all kinds of things. Currently, she dedicates part of her free time to fashion design and creation.
