Collaborators
Welcome and introduction to plant genomics in our conference room. Afterwards, interactive visit to the facilities of the Centre for Biotechnology and Plant Genomics (CBGP) for all audiences, children, young people and families. The importance of genomics and its relevance to food production will be shown in a simple way. The impact of research and development of new technologies to achieve the goal of having a healthy diet from food produced in a more sustainable way will also be discussed.
There will be hands-on activities !!!!
This activity is promoted by researchers from the Centro de Biotecnología y Genómica de Plantas, CBGP (UPM-INIA/CSIC), which is a Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence.
