Lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Universidad San Pablo CEU. I have a degree in Biochemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid. I have always been intrigued by the brain, and the diseases that can affect it. For this reason, I completed a doctoral thesis in neuroscience at the Cajal Institute and a short stay at New York University. During my postdoctoral stage I did research in the area of pharmacogenetics at the Hospital Universitario de La Princesa. We are currently trying to understand why some epilepsy patients do not respond well to drugs.
