Javier Talavante is a predoctoral researcher at IMDEA Networks. He graduated in Audiovisual Systems Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) in 2019. He finished his Master studies in Telecommunication Engineering at the same institution in 2021, where he discovered the great potential offered by Visible Light Communications. He worked for 4 years as a research assistant in the UC3M Infrared Lab and participated in different projects funded by the European Commission. In his free time, he enjoys reading, learning about history and politics, going to the theatre and concerts, and playing sports such as basketball and fencing.
