My name is Ángela García de la Camacha Díaz and I am from Ciudad Real. I graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Castilla-La Mancha where I became interested in research, which led me to do a Master's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the University Carlos III of Madrid. During my final projects (TFG and TFM) I was involved in projects related to Additive Manufacturing and that is why I decided to join IMDEA Materials in September 2023 to do my PhD in 3D Printing of bioabsorbable implants. In addition, throughout my academic career I have always felt very attracted to dissemination and teaching, of which I have a wide work experience, from my first job as a volleyball coach to different jobs as a teacher of mathematics, physics, English, French and Spanish for foreigners. Outside the scientific environment, I am very passionate about art in all its forms, especially painting, poetry and theatre. I love travelling and getting to know new places and people.
