Francesca obtained her BSc. in Chemistry and Material Chemistry from the University of Bologna (Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, Italy) in 2019. In 2019-2021 carried out her Master Degree in Photochemistry and Molecular Materials at the same university.

In August 2021, she joined the Advanced Porous Materials unit of IMDEA Energy as a predoctoral researcher as part of the HeatNMof project as Marie Skłodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher (ESR), where her main supervisor is Patricia Horcajada Cortés while her co-supervisor is Beatriz Pelaz.

She is a chemist, with a passion for travels, good food and chess.
