Basharat Jamil
About me
Basharat Jamil is presently a Postdoctoral researcher working with High Temperature Processes Unit at IMDEA Energy Institute (Madrid). Previously he was MSCA postdoctoral fellow at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC), Mostolés, Madrid (2020-2022) working with the Computer Science and Statistics Department with the Group for Research in Algorithms for Optimization (GRAFO) in the line of ´Intelligent Energy Demand Estimation´. He holds a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering (with specialization in the area of Heat Transfer and Solar Energy) from Mechanical Engineering Department, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh (India). He has over many years of experience as Assistant Professor at University level (AMU, India), where he was involved in preparing curriculum, delivering classroom lectures and holding laboratory classes. In the same period, he was also supervising undergraduate student projects and theses, and also held several administrative departmental positions. In the free time, he like to travel, photography, enjoys cooking and visit new places.
