After obtaining my degree in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences from the Universitat de València, my passion for sustainability and environmental biotechnology led me to the Master’s in Integrative Synthetic Biology (UIMP-CSIC). My master’s thesis consisted of the design of Acinetobacter baylyi as a microbial chassis for the upcycling of PET using biosensing tools and genetic engineering. In the present, I continue investigating this line of research as a JAE-Intro fellow.
In my day-to-day life, I especially enjoy traveling around the world, reading a little bit of everything, and trying new experiences that widen my perspective.
