I got my PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and my doctoral thesis was about enzymes with antimicrobial activity. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Polymer Biotechnology Group at the Center for Biological Research (CIB-CSIC). My work is focused on the study and characterization of enzymes that can degrade bioplastics and their immobilization for different biotechnological applications. In my free time I like dancing, going to the theatre and travelling.
