I am a researcher in the Polymer Biotechnology Group. I received my Ph.D. in Chemical Science and Technology at the University of Vigo and worked for 9 years in the Experimental Therapies Department of the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) participating in the development of potential anti-tumor drugs. Six years ago, I joined the Polymer Biotechnology Group in which I participated by chemically modifying the biopolymers obtained in the group to obtain advanced materials. These materials have specific properties depending on the application for which they are designed. I am also responsible for the liquid chromatography part of the Chromatography service. As for my hobbies, I like sports, especially boxing, painting, reading, and traveling.
