Postdoctoral Researcher in Polymer Biotechnology Group (CIB-CSIC). I did my PhD in Physical Chemistry of Industrial and Environmental Processes at the Chemical Engineering Department at Complutense University of Madrid (FQPIMA UCM). Now my work is focused on polyhydroxyalkanoates and cellulose production from bacteria at lab bioreactor scale from gas and liquid industrial wastes in high cell density cultures. I am also responsible for bioprocess scale-up, from shaken flasks to pre-industrial and pilot plant bioreactors. I wrote and published a black novel in 2021 (‘El Arte de lo Posible’, Editorial Libros Indie). Moreover, I developed and performed stand-up comedy scripts from 2012 and I collaborated in several sports and magazines in podcast format on Spotify and Twitch platforms. I love sports, nature, music, and travelling and I have a weakness in cooking, food, and restaurants.
