About me
She has a degree in Pharmacy (1993, UCM) and a PhD in Chemical Sciences (1998, UAM). Since 2018 she is a University Professor, Analytical Chemistry area. She is responsible for the consolidated research group GQAA-MAF (Research Group on Analytical Chemistry Applied to the Environment, Food and Drugs of the URJC). She is the author of more than 135 international publications. In relation to her Research Projects, we must highlight her continued participation since 1993, with her being the main researcher in various competitive calls of the National Plan, Community of Madrid and URJC-CM. In relation to the current lines of work, the one related to the analysis of contaminants in food and water (natural toxins, drugs, hormones, pesticides, heavy metals, etc.) stands out to control their safety, as well as the development of new foods. , quality control and sensory analysis. She has held management positions such as Coordinator of the Degree in Food Science and Technology at the URJC, Secretary and Director of the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry and Director of the Electrochemistry and Separation Techniques Laboratory (LETS, CM Laboratory Network). She is currently Deputy Director of Quality and Qualifications at ESCET.
