Fernando Cortés Fossati
About me
Researcher in the Evolutionary Ecology Group of the Biodiversity and Conservation Area (URJC Madrid). I am a member of the European Network for the Study of Venoms and the Iberian Group of Arachnology. Environmentalist, Oceanographer and Zoologist, I am especially interested in evolutionary ecology, ethology and conservation of toxic terrestrial arthropods –especially arachnids– which are the lines that make up the bulk of my scientific production. In addition, I am specialized in scientific dissemination, which I actively carry out both in scientific events and the media, as well as on the Internet. I have been focused on these fields for more than twelve years, which has allowed me to participate in more than 50 national and international conferences and outreach events. Likewise, he passionately develops teaching tasks at his university and scientific advisory tasks.
