About me
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the IMDEA Materials Institute. I am an aerospace engineer with a passion for design and material science.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with distinct types of materials. The scope of these studies covered the whole manufacturing procedure, from processing of the raw materials to characterisation of the final samples and assessment of their viability.
My PhD was focused on the production of metal-ceramic hard materials devoted to high-temperature and wear applications. They were designed using thermo-dynamic software and manufactured following different Powder Metallurgy routes.
Regarding my transversal competencies, I am a highly organised, meticulous and detailoriented person, but also practical, sensitive and pragmatic. I love to work and be part of a team, creating a friendly and productive environment.
