About me
PhD in Communication from the perspective of social conflict from the Universidad Europea(2011), has a Master's Degree in Political Processes in Spain, the European Union and Eastern Europe from UNED and a Degree in Political Science and Sociology from the same University (2000). Always oriented to the academic and teaching field, she also obtained the Certificate of Pedagogical Attitude from the Complutense University of Madrid (current Master's Degree in Teacher Training). A full professor in Applied Sociology since 2014, she was professionally linked to UNED and Carlos III de Madrid, among other universities and business schools. At the university level, she has held positions of Director of Academics and Department (2014-2017). In addition, she has been present in degree design commissions, national and international accreditations and has produced a multitude of educational training materials linked to my areas of knowledge. She has participated in Research Projects for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the Community of Madrid, the European Union, the AECI and the European University of Madrid. Among the projects, the following stand out: “Enrolla2. Security perceptions and risk attitudes in "millennials" linked to the use of affective-sexual computer apps” (UEM), “WBL-PRO Project Qualification, Open Resources & Toolkit for the Work-Based Learning Professional” (Erasmus +), “ Concertation Process to establish a Public-Private Alliance to support co-development projects in the community of origin of Ecuadorian emigrants (AECI)”, and “Analysis of the search, duration of employment and access to housing of the immigrant population in the CAM” (Project No. 255/07) (CAM). Principal Researcher (PI) of the Knowledge-Research Group on Social Problems, her lines of research focus on inequality, exclusion, deviation and social conflict.
