Beatriz de Lucas Moreno graduated in Sanitary Biology from the UAH and has a Master's in Molecular Biomedicine and another in ESO Teacher Training, Baccalaureate, both from the UAM. He carried out his Doctoral Thesis in the group of Dr. Beatriz G Gálvez, financed by the Aid for the training of university teachers (FPU), in the study of the migration of mesenchymal precursors, obtaining the highest qualification, Cum Laude, together with the Mention of International Doctor, in the UEM. Subsequently, she obtained a contract as a Postdoctoral Researcher subsidized by the CAM and the European Social Fund in the MASmicrobiota group of Dr. Mar Larrosa, to which she continues to be attached. The main line of the group focuses on determining the influence of lifestyle (eating habits and physical activity) on the composition of the intestinal microbiota and its impact on Health. Since 2016, she has been carrying out teaching tasks, accumulating more than 450 hours of classes, teaching various subjects (theoretical and practical), in different languages and grades. She has also participated as the author of teaching materials, book chapters, for the Master's Degree "Nutrition, Health and Women" of the UCM and for -University Expert in Clinical Nutrition and Nutritional Health- of the UCAM. In the research field, she has an H index of 8. She is the author of more than fifteen publications with important impact indexes. She has participated as a collaborating researcher in different projects / contracts, and she has been awarded a small project as principal investigator. She has been responsible for activities in Dissemination Days (Science Week and the European Night of Researchers). During the doctorate she made an international stay (3 months) at the European University of Cyprus. She has been a tutor for students in the last year of the Degree in their beginning in research tasks. In addition, she has carried out management and administration activities both at the laboratory level and in the organization and development of internal training events.
