My name is Blanca Lacruz and I am a predoctoral researcher in the Computational Biology group at IMDEA Alimentación. I studied Biochemistry and then did a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. In my PhD I use computational techniques to investigate the gut microbiome and how it affects our health. Besides science, I am passionate about nature, Formula 1, music and LGTBIQ+ history.
