I am a researcher in the lipid metabolism epigenetics group at IMDEA Alimentación. My research career focuses on identifying how food modulates the expression of circulating miRNAs, and how they influence gene expression. In this way, I try to identify the mechanisms involved in the development of dyslipidaemia-related diseases. I am currently working on a project where we are trying to identify the epigenetic effects of accidental consumption of nanoplastics and their potential impact on health.
I love going to concerts, travelling, strolling through the streets of Madrid and going out to dinner in "gourmet mode".
