I have a degree in Pharmacy and a PhD in Pharmacology from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil. I am currently working as a researcher in the NeuroprotectionLAB group of Dr. Manuela Garcia Lopez. We investigate therapeutic targets for possible treatments of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's, using cell lines and knock out animal models.
