Graduated in Pharmacy and specialized in Tropical Medicine and International Health. She has completed her doctoral thesis in the area of intestinal microbiota and its relationship with allergy. She is currently a professor of histology and cell biology at the Faculty of Medicine of the San Pablo CEU University. A cooperation, nature, and travel lover, she actively participates in the NGO "Viva Makeni" with which she travels to Sierra Leone to give workshops on community hygiene and public health.
