Beatriz Merino Palacios, Senior Lecturer Professor in Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, San Pablo CEU University. When I was 18 years old, I decided to be scientist, so I moved to Madrid to study Pharmacy at the USP CEU University, where I have done my Phd. Currently, I have been a professor of Pharmacology for more than 10 years and I have been part of the Physiopathology of Obesity (ADIPOBRAIN) research group focused on studing the role of high-fat diets on the metabolic and functional alterations involved in the control of food intake and obesity, both centrally and peripherally.
Among my hobbies I love running, although in the last years I have become fond of yoga. In addition, I really enjoy having a good time of movies with my children or cooking cakes.
