PhD student in the Department of Ecology of the Autonomous University of Madrid. In my doctoral thesis, I study the ecosystem services generated by temporary ponds and the role played by large branchiopods within these ecosystems within the European project ResPond: Restoring and Managing Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services of Temporary Pond Landscapes. In my master's thesis I have contributed to the ClimaRiskinPond project through the study of temporary lagoons in the Community of Madrid. In my final degree thesis I studied the seasonal factors that determined the community of macroinvertebrates in the lagoon complex of temporary ponds "Charcas de los Camorchos" (Hoyo de Manzanares) throughout the hydroperiod. In addition, I have participated in the European project EUROPONDS (3rd European EFFS-EFYR FreshProject 2020-2022), whose objective is to evaluate the contribution of lagoons to the adjacent terrestrial ecosystem through the nutritional value of emerging insects that serve as food for a multitude of animals.
