I have a degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). I have developed my research career in Spain, the Netherlands and the United States, and I am currently a researcher for the Talent Attraction program of the Community of Madrid in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics of the UAM. My work focuses on understanding the mechanisms that mediate neurodegeneration in diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. In my free time I like to listen to music, read, walk in the countryside and enjoy the sun.
