Environmentalist specialized in microbiology and bioinformatics. PhD in Microbiology from the UAM. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Severo Ochoa Molecular Biology Center of the UAM. My objective is to study the ecology in extreme environments such as the Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia), the Dallol volcanic basin (Ethiopia) or the Río Tinto in Huelva. We also look for potential biotechnological applications of economic interest and the application of this knowledge to search for life in other planetary systems. But I also like to play sports, read, travel, discover new worlds and above all enjoy nature with friends and family in my spare time.
