Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) since 2006. She is the director of the INPROQUIMA Research Group @inproquima_ucm, [https://www.ucm.es/inproquima], and her research field is the application of chemical and environmental technologies that are effective and sustainable, also from an economic and social viewpoint. Consuming fewer natural resources and reusing them, reducing the cost of energy and the time required for treatment, avoiding the generation of by-products, and carrying out safe processes are key aspects in the research conducted by the INPROQUIMA group.
