Juan Jesús García Domínguez
About me
Juan Jesús García Domínguez holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) and a European PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Alcalá (Spain). He was awarded the prize for the best doctoral thesis in 2006. He started his teaching and research activity in the Department of Electronics at the University of Alcalá in 1994, and currently holds a position of University Professor. His research interests are in the areas of multisensory systems and positioning systems. Currently, he focuses on ambient intelligence for independent living, applied to the assessment of frailty in the elderly and the early detection of the onset of physical and cognitive impairment.
