Associate Professor in the Dept. of Inorganic Chemistry at the Complutense University of Madrid. His research focuses mainly on the synthesis and structural and microstructural characterisation of functional materials (oxides and intermetallics), as well as on the study of their magnetic and electronic transport properties. He has specialised in the development of new synthesis methodologies using microwave radiation as a heat source and in the development of new materials for energy (thermoelectrics, fuel cells, new generation batteries).
