Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Unit of Inorganic Chemistry (Bioinorganics and Biomaterials) of the Complutense University of Madrid.
I have a degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a PhD from the same university (2003) in the area of electroactive organometallic macromolecules. In 2006 I moved to the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Complutense University of Madrid.
My research activity focuses on the area of organic-inorganic hybrid materials, dendritic macromolecules, bioceramics, nanoparticles and stimuli-responsive nanosystems for biomedical applications, in particular bone pathologies such as cancer and infection.
My hobbies include sports, photography, travelling and enjoying nature with my family and my twins Iria and Óliver.
