Paloma de Oro Carretero
About me
PhD student in Advanced Chemistry at the Complutense University of Madrid with a pre-doctoral contract for the training of doctors from the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
My research focuses on the development of analytical methods for the determination of emerging contaminants in biological and environmental samples and the study of their bioaccumulation and metabolisation through in vitro assays with cell lines and in vivo with zebrafish larvae as alternative models to adult animal testing.
In my spare time I train taekwondo where I am 1st DAN. I am most passionate about enjoying live music and spending time with my family and friends.
