Miriam Chávez Peraza
About me
Miriam Chávez works as Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Alcalá since January 2023. She obtained her degree in Chemistry from the University of La Laguna (2015), and Ph.D. from the University of Córdoba (2022). Chávez developed her Doctoral Thesis under the supervision of Prof. Teresa Pineda inside the “Fisicoquímica Biológica” Research Group, as she granting a FPU17 fellowship from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. At present, she belongs to MINYNANOTECH group led by Prof. Alberto Escarpa. Her research is focused on the development of analytical miniaturization and nanotechnologies, lab-on-chip electro-microfluidic devices and applications of low-dimensional nanomaterials.
Apart from the research activity, Miriam's main hobbies are cycling and hiking.
