Sara Martínez Pérez
About me
My name is Sara Martinez and I work at IMDEA as predoctoral researcher. I have always loved nature and animals, so I decided to study Environmental Sciences at URJC and a master in Ecology at UAM. At the moment, I am doing a PhD about the effects microplastics have in nature. I have had the opportunity to learn about species distribution at Gent University, about how to monitor aquatic ecosystems in an environmental consultancy, and about how to perform some laboratory analyses at Autonoma University of Madrid. In my free time I like to enjoy outdoor activities, in the mountains, or visiting new places. My biggest hobby is horse riding, I love these animals and I am passionate of the sport of horse riding.
