My name is Melina Celeste Crettaz- Minaglia and I work in IMDEA Water Institute as technician and research assistant for the Ecotoxicology group. In Argentina, I obtained a Bachellor´s degree in Environmental Management (UADER) and a PhD in Biological Science (UNLP). I´m specialized in water quality bioindicators such as phytoplankton, periphyton, invertebrates and fish as well as cyanobacterial blooms. I have worked in several universities and technician areas in Uruguay and Argentina that allowed me to gain experience in the field of environmental science. In my free time, I enjoy going to the mountains, and also exploring unique urban areas. Furthermore, I participate in social projects that raise awareness. I like dancing, and trying new activities, for example voice lessons, computer programming, and natural dressage.
