During the visit to the UMECE (Experimental Medicine and Surgery Unit) there will be different workshops and guided tours to learn about the work of our unit:
1a-Visit to the UMECE animal facility to learn about all the animal models used in research.
1b-Workshop on laparoscopic surgery using pelvitrainer (inanimate model to learn how to operate by laparoscopy).
2- Brief summary of the different Cellular Therapies used in the treatment of neurological diseases. Workshop where we will be able to visualize mesenchymal stem cells and different biomaterials under the microscope.
3- NeuroEscape Room: Brief summary of neonatal acquired damage IN A RAT MODEL and escape room where we will demonstrate the acquired knowledge.
4- Workshop to obtain banana DNA.
5- Workshop to learn how to determine the blood group.
