About me
At the end of April 2022, I defended my Doctoral Thesis at the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid. In December of that same year, I started as Ph.D Assistant Professor in the Department of Analytical Chemistry, where I am currently working. My research focuses on the accumulation and biotransformation of different chemical forms of selenium (organic, inorganic and nanoparticulate) in biological and environmental samples by isotopic dilution.
When I finish my teaching and research work at the university, I like to do sports to disconnect and keep both mind and body fit. My hobbies include politics and music. In fact, for more than 10 years I have been a member of the Musical Association of my village, in Casillas (Ávila), where I play the clarinet.
