Martín is a researcher in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). He is currently pursuing his PhD in the field of turbulent jet control, combining physical models with data-driven techniques to improve the efficiency and reduce the noise of aero engines. Beyond the lab, he splits his time between volleyball, reading and the gym. He is also a storyteller in Dungeons and Dragons campaigns and, sometimes, he writes poems. With one foot in engineering and the other in storytelling, Martín wants to show that science can also be told, lived and played.
