I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Histology at the Complutense University of Madrid. My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms involved in the development of kidney and cardiovascular diseases, as well as identifying potential drugs that could help combat them. Since I was a child, I’ve loved researching and discovering new things so I can share them with others.
Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, playing sports, fishing, mushroom hunting, and going to the Metropolitano stadium whenever we can to watch our team. I also have a hobby of trying to repair electronic devices, though I’m not always successful.
