My name is Blanca Limones Ahijón, I am an experimental scientist with a master's degree in Chemical Science and Technology. I started my professional career at the Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology of CSIC as a research assistant, studying neural cell electrostimulation and materials testing for biomedical applications.
I then joined the IMDEA Materials Institute as laboratory manager and research assistant in the field of regenerative medicine, and now I have started my PhD in the framework of the Cardioboost project, for the development of a functional tissue-engineered graft for myocardial repair.
