Eva García Ibáñez
About me
I work in the Herbarium of the Royal Botanical Garden, which is 200 years old, and which houses the most important collection of pressed and dried plants in Spain. My tasks are varied: archiving and organization of copies, computerization, loans between institutions, attention to visiting researchers, etc.
The Herbarium is at the same time a scientific tool and heritage, and that is why one of the challenges in my work is the responsibility of working with the specimens so that they are preserved in optimal conditions, and that this legacy continues to be useful for science and society in future generations.
